How To Homemade Candle Holder

You can make candle holders according to your choice on home. You can use unused old things which are only garbage for you. It is very interesting and healthy hobby.

materials

- 1 large cylinder
- 1 small cylinder
- homemade plaster
- synthetic jewels
- colored glass  stones
- metal spatula
- hammer
- gold craft paint
- gloss spray finish

Instructions

- Clean your cylinders and remove the label. Fill both with water and freeze them all night.
- Start Work on one cylinder at a time, take the cylinder outside the freezer and hammer make holes on the cylinder, apart from the bottom area. Gap the holes out about 1 inch. Replicate this procedure with the other can. Empty the ice and water outside the cylinders and wipe up both cylinders dry.

Make the homemade plaster as follow:

- Mix 2 cups salt and 1 cup of flour in a pot. Include 2/3 cups of water and mix well. Mix continually over medium heat, until the mixture is hot – about 3 to 5 minutes. The plaster will be thick and hard to blend. Take away from heat.
- With the help of metal spatula, spread this mixture around the larger cylinder, including the bottom. Be cautious that you don’t cut your hand on the sharp holes that you have hit.
- Place the plastered cylinder with the facing down. Middle the smaller can put on top of the larger cylinder, the smaller cylinder facing up.
- Spread plaster mixture up to the rim of small cylinder.
- Press on colored glass stones and synthetic jewels into the plaster, all over both cylinders.
- Now you have a decorated cylinder tube. Bake at 200o until the cylinder turn white and hard. This procedure may take two hours.
- When the candle holder is cool, take out from the oven. A few stones and synthetic jewels pop off throughout the cooling process; if so, just glue them back in place.
- Paint the white part of the cylinder with golden spray paint, excluding the jewels. Let this dry, and then spray on a glistening finish.

You can use this candle holder to hold a small candle. When you turn the candle holder, you will have space for a larger candle. When you lit the candles, you can enjoy the shine of the candle through the holes that were poked from side to side the cylinders.

Caution: Never ever leave your children alone with candles and don’t overlook a burning candle it will be a dangerous. Please use candles carefully!
